I am a New York City-based health, wellness, and lifestyle journalist, a NASM-certified personal trainer, and the Health Director at Women’s Health magazine. And before WH, I was the Deputy Health Features Editor at SELF, and previously the Senior Editor at Health magazine. As a writer-reporter, I have contributed to print and online publications including TIME, Real Simple, and People, among others.
I grew up in upstate New York but landed in Chicago for college, studying at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. I developed an undeniable passion for health and fitness during my college years and ultimately decided to pursue those things in my career. I’m constantly researching the latest health and wellness trends, trying a buzzy new workout class, spending time outdoors or snowboarding when I can, or browsing athleisure. My friends would probably describe me as the confidant to turn to for fitness tips, not to mention for answers to any weird/embarrassing body Qs.
My ultimate goal? To provide evidence-based content that helps a woman make her own decisions about her health, and to define wellness her way.
